The month-long campaign took place at all Tri-County area locations, where customers were given the option at every check-out counter of making a contribution to Easter Seals. Each store is encouraged to participate in other in-store fundraising activities to benefit Easter Seals.
Donations at Vons and Pavillions stores help Easter Seals provide children's early develoment programs, including occupational and physical therapy for developmental delays, pre-school and after-school services and aquatic physical rehabilitation programs for seniors.

Year after year our Tri-County community continually exceeds other communities in CA in the generosity of their giving to those in need," said Mary London, President and CEO of Tri- Counties Easter Seals. "Their support helps our local Easter Seals fullfill our mission of providing services for children and adults with special needs and their families thoughout our community; particiularly in the vital area of early diagnosis and intervention of Autism.
In, 2008 Vons rasied over $300,000 in support of Easter Seals Tri-Counties. "We know Easter Seals consistantly ranks among the most efficient charities at serving people with disabilities.
