Dear Easter Seals families,
The state of California is experiencing an unprecedented budget deficit. The State Legislature and the Governor have made deep cuts to developmental services that include Regional Center funding. One of the programs most severely affected is Early Start services.
Beginning October 1st, families receiving or needing occupational therapy and physical therapy for their child will have to access their health insurance as the primary source of payment.
We are letting you know that we can help. With over 20 years of experience dealing with insurance, we will deal with the insurance hassle for you. While we accept all private insurance companies and Medicare, Easter Seals is a preferred provider for:
Blue Cross
Seaview
Tri-West
Valley Care
Healthy Families
(At this time we are unable to accept Medi-Cal insurance due to its extremely low reimbursement rate.)
The Easter Seals advantage:
We understand how confusing and frustrating it can be when dealing with insurance. Let us take care of this for you.
When necessary, we submit and deal with denials and appeals.
All we need is a prescription from your doctor and we’re on our way to helping your child.
Easter Seals mission is to create solutions to support children and adults with disabilities and their families. Let us help you through the process.
Please contact Chris Labanowski in our insurance department for all questions you may have at 659-3786 ext. 12.
Sincerely,
Mary London
