Inclusive Early Childhood Education Center »
Easter Seals Early Childhood Education Center in Ventura offers full and partial-day, academic and year-round educational programs for children from 18 months to 5 years old in a safe, child-friendly environment. Early childhood is the most critical period in human growth and development. It is the period when the foundations of personality, ethical behavior and academic achievement are laid. It has been said that play is the work of childhood; it is in the course of their play children seek to understand the world around them and their place within the world. Our belief is that children need to play in order to learn and grow.

Each day, the schedule includes exposure to new ideas and challenging experiences. A daily lesson plan emphasizes hands-on activities that help children use all five senses to build the basic skills they need. Services meet the unique needs of each child through developmentally appropriate, stimulating, small group and individualized activities.
A professional and caring staff of teachers and teachers' assistants creates a nurturing, fun-loving and challenging atmosphere. Children are our first priority. Our center follows the highest program standards. Adult to child ratios exceed child care licensing requirements. For information on our participation in the Early Intervention for School Success program, click here.
Teachers communicate daily with parents so a child's successes or concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Parents are welcome at all times and invited to participate in program activities. They are encouraged to participate in a child's individual program development, goal setting and evaluation.
The Easter Seals Early Childhood Education Center welcomes diversity. Children of all abilities are welcome. Children in diapers are accepted.
